Conveniently located in Northeast Tallahassee - Performing Arts Center offers a professional, disciplined, and personally rewarding approach to classical ballet and dance for dancers of all ages and skill levels. We offer a unique, nurturing, and growth-oriented set of programs designed to fit the needs of all aspiring dancers, complete with performing opportunities for all, referral incentives for our students, and American Ballet Theatre-Certified ballet instruction. Our programs offer exceptional training taught by our professional adult staff, led by our Artistic Director with experience that stems from a history of over 20 years in the industry. Our teaching model is highly-respected and has a consistent track record of producing not only happy, healthy and beautiful dancers but dancers of all ages who've learned to love and appreciate themselves through the art of dance. In addition to our classical ballet classes, we offer exceptional programs in preschool dance, jazz, tap and contemporary. Performing Arts Center of Tallahassee is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 7 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher, Amy S. Lowe, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 and Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.We realize there are many choices available when it come to enrolling your child in a dance program; but not all schools are the same.
